I'll be putting that down for this last bunch of DTAs. I had three quizzes on the SECOND WEEK OF SCHOOL. But, um, enough about that... Name: Oasis Gender: Male Current location: an unusual, never ending desert Abilities: none Personality: very determined (to get out of the desert), resourceful, quick to act Likes: water, food, shade, escape Hates: heat, sand, small spaces, running out of resources, portals Time in the desert so far: currently, five weeks Since I'm reading "The Martian" in school, some parts of that story inspired this one. So anyway, this is Oasis. He's a normal cat, but one day (five weeks ago) he woke up in a desert. Also, his fur had changed. He doesn't know why. But the longer he spends in the desert, the more he learns. First, this desert seems to be some sort of "magical never-ending desert". It's not never-ending; it does end at some point. But every day, thousands of portals open in the desert. Most of the portals in the desert lead to different areas of the desert. And most of the time, you can walk into one of these portals without knowing. Meaning that if you were following one path, you could walk into one of these portals and lose your path. You could have been almost out, but by walking in one of these portals, you could be brought back to the beginning. Never-ending. This sort of explains how he got there, and how his fur had changed (the effects of portal travel). But he really doesn't care about that now. He just want to get out. Now. He wants to go home.
