Espejo loves to study the mirror world, so he picked up the Mirror ability to have an upper hand in the field. He is a part of a group of five, along with Cpt. Blade, Noddo, Beamlord, and Fuse McWick. He has the ability to capture foes in mirrors, and has a special mirror wand, called the Refleccion. The Refleccion is an ancient artifact that is the origin of the Mirror copy ability, allowing whoever wields it to take on the appearance of others, reflect any attack, and use mirrors to ensnare and attack foes. Espejo used it to cast away many shadow characters to his personal gallery of mirrors, the Reflective Hall, which also can be an easy-transport house for Espejo. While learning about the Mirror World, a great evil struck it, and the events of Amazing Mirror took place. Afterwards, Espejo picked up the pieces of Dark Meta Knight for himself, to learn how the Mirror World creates its inhabitants. After he learned the secrets of the Mirror World high above Dreamland, he went on to share it with the world. He showed the pieces of Dark Meta Knight as proof of his explorations, along with the Refleccion. They didn't believe that he had a way up to the Mirror World, thus, his travels were thought to be myths, stories he would tell to pass the time with someone else. Espejo, now frustrated and presumed a liar, went on to trap characters that were deemed unlikely to reappear to him. Time passed, and things have changed; Espejo goes on to his most challenging battle yet, with the one that resolved the Mirror World conflict, leaving him to pick up the literal pieces, the ones that soon reformed, and left his museum of the Mirror Above. Left with one choice, Espejo goes to the Clobbah Royale with the trusty Refleccion to get revenge.
