Update: This is my QuakeMachine2.0.1 I didn't shared this version until today. I believe this builder works. I stopped working on it b/c it was no longer needed on TeamEarthquake (Present TeamRumble). Read original notes b/c it explains "how to use this". I still need to figure it out as well. It was a while since I worked on this. I took the lock out to non-T.R. members. Press s-l-o-w-q-2 w/out the dashes to show hidden blocks. You'll need them to use this. This was suppose to be part of my "Replacement projects". See update12 (no link), but this version was shared so this project will remain a planned, or "real project". Please Remix this though, and add blocks. Thanks -co13 Original Notes:(Important!:I know it's alot of reading for a project but, it's important)For quakegames.webs.com The 6th version of the QuakeMachine(which is a test project). With almost a full proof download lock. Only TeamEarthquake Members will be able to use this. If you want to use a a similar version of the QuakeMachine go to my ScratchOS-Electricware-v.6, follow the steps to use it and download the MinitowerBuild Widget. The widget is similar to QuakeMachine1.0(Test)- QM1.8. This one has new features. You won't be able to find the password to show the editing blocks. You can still play the game though. This Game Builder was designed for members of TeamEarthquake and for non-members to request simple platforming games. Note: Do not try to drag platforms in the non-edit mode. If you click them, they will hide and you won't be able to continue without resetting the game. To reset the game is also an only-members block. Level1 which is has a flaw, which is that you'll be able to drag them into place without applying the password. I already know how to fix that. Anyways for this you will be able to test out the first level. I will put the lock for online draggable error in the full version of this for level1 or in a later version. Do not try to find a way passed the download lock(I'm sure you will try). When the flag is clicked,or any of the set messages are broadcasted, scratch automatically crashes. You will not find the editing sprites including the one with the show edit blocks passcode. You will be able to control the user and edit the platforms. It would be tough remixing anyways. Who would want to edit something that crashes all the time and can't be saved??? There are two ways I figured that are the simplest to get around the download lock. 1)Know the password *It will be sent by email to members only and those who request it. 2)Figure it out or join TeamEarthquake. For more information on TeamEarthquake go to www.quakegames.webs.com and click on the About US section. Controls for user/QuakeGames Mascot(unofficial name, suggestions by members?):Arrow keys to move and up to jump. Uses y/velocity. Also x/velocity with division scripts. Instuctions to edit for members: 1) The blocks you see such as the only one shown "when me clicked, start game" is called a Quaking symbol. It is really just a graphically modified scratch blocks that uses scratch blocks as programming instead of the squeak smalltalk language. 2) The next level block will bring you to edit the positions of platforms of the next level. 3)"back level"-will bring you back a level 4)"rest game" Will reset the game back to the start. It will really just put everything back the way I first posted it. The flag won't give a platform a set position. The refresh button might. The Last few ideas of QM2.0.1-If you are trying to be sneaky and modify the QM2.0.1 please tell us if there are any flaws with the download/editing lock. You might want to lock your important projects too. Also I am not against remixing, this is just a very important project to my/the TeamEarthquake site. This is the only project I have managed to lock. There was also another way to lock a project but,then it couldn't be played without knowing the password. I really don't want non-TeamEarthquake members modifying it and using it for themselves. Called 2.0.1 because 2.0 was the original version of 2.0.1 and when I saved it then re-opened it, the editing blocks could easily be identyfied and password. Baseballdude2 is still on scratch but,not on mutch and only has made sports art projects(that still counts as contributing). Gamer2012 has been helping well. Note to Gamer2012-Want to finish this project? Well the next 4 levels? You could also make an enable flying block that I should of made. It took me a while to plane this out and make this prototype.
