once upon a time, there was a warp pipe that Bowser created. it looked like a normal warp pipe in the daytime, but at nighttime, it showed it's demon self. Bowser tried to test it out, so he sent a boo to go inside. the boo came out as a demon ghost, and spotted Mario walking by. suddenly, it transformed into a clone of Mario! Mario immediately became friends with the clone, and named him Noctal. the demon boo was so happy, he decided to be a part of the Mario Bros. He decided to be Noctal. Mario trusted him so much that he gave him his own cap. Luigi trusted him so much, he let them swap overalls. Cappy trusted him so much that he let Noctal borrow himself for the day.
