Welcome to The Country! Every 30 seconds, some country may recognize you as a country. Buy things to excel your expansion! There are house upgrades (increasing population each), office upgrades (increasing number of workers), and area upgrades (increasing area and controlling people per area). There are also special upgrades that double your population, workers (coming soon) or area. Version 0.7: I have nerfed offices. Now the number of workers is determined by its cost. ($100,000 per worker for higher level offices) Version 1.0: I have also added a census (not working and soon deleted) and increasing/decreasing population. Version 1.1: I have nerfed residential buildings to ensure it pays for itself slower. Version 1.2: Added previous years' censuses. Now you can see the former population of your "country"! Version 1.2.0.1: Removed happiness variable from the screen. Version 1.2.0.2: Decreased maximum population growth.
BALANCING PROBLEMS: This game is SERIOUSLY unbalanced. It is very slow in the beginning but suddenly becomes extremely fast, even my nerfing of residential buildings and nerfing of office buildings didn't help. You can easily achieve populations of well over 1 billion in 10 in-game years. New update version 2.0 should feature: Happiness (if your country is unhappy, growth is significantly slower) Immigration rate (if negative, try to solve the problem) Entertainment buildings (create both happiness and money) NOTE: Entertainment money is already in the variables. Birth rate (if low, expect irreversible collapse, increase income of person to fix) New buildings to satisfy the demands of the features More nerfing New buildings, in general Budget system (if experiencing losses, try to balance the budget) Balancing These will take a long time to implement.
