Anyway, here we go! Name: Nautilus Gender: Male Job: Marine biologist Likes: Organic seaweed, krill, his studies Dislikes: Global warming, overfishing, ignorance Favorite animal: sea turtle Music genre: jazz (hence the music) Nautilus, a sea-wolf (I know the description said dog, but he looks like a wolf to me), is a marine biologist living in the Pacific ocean (near California). He dives under the water every day to do his studies, which he considers VERY important to him. Like all sea-wolves, he can breathe in air and water, but he prefers air, so when he dives he holds his breath. Part of "Project Nautilus" at STREAM Labs, Nautilus was created in an attempt to balance out the environment as more species disappear He escaped while he was still young, however, He's happy he did. Looking back, he thinks that the scientists at the labs would have been more productive if they spent time protecting existing species instead of creating new ones. His childhood friend, Perry (one of my characters, by the way), gave him his shell necklace, which moved him to studying the oceans. He learned to read from the research lab he came from, and his time at the lab also encouraged him to take up marine biology. One thing that is also important to him is climate change. As sea-wolves are sensitive to their environment, climate change is affecting him every day, and he doesn't like it. Climate change also means no more krill or seaweed or sea turtles. So, he would love it if others could spread the word about how big climate change is. In his spare time, he reads books about the marine environment, listens to all kinds of jazz, and tries different kinds of (sustainable) seafood).
