Click on a character to control it. (The character you are currently using is shown in the middle as Hero) Arrow keys control the current Hero. If Frank or Piper run up to the chasm, they shoot a projectile that can defeat Earthborn (and only Earthborn) and intercept rocks. You can press space to use your sword, or the 'A' button to use the current Hero's special ability. Jason can summon a storm, blowing away monsters, and shooting lightning. Frank can control the Ghost Warriors. Click 'A', and Frank will cry "Legions!". Type 1 for a defensive circle. Type 2 advance the bridge, and pretty much dominate the Earthborn on the other side of the chasm. Type 3 to cut the right bridge. Type 4 to cut the left bridge. (Monsters WILL fall off the void if bridge is cut.) Nico's special ability is to summon another Ghost Warrior. Piper can use charmspeak to get the monsters to jump into the chasm. Your health is shown by the hearts in the bottom right corner. You have the same health no matter what Hero you are using. (For instance, if you are using Frank, and lose a life, even if you turn to another character, you will still have three lives until you lose another one.) Only the current Hero you are using receives damage, besides the Ghost Warriors, who will disappear after being hit five times WITHOUT HARDENING AND CARRYING WEAPONS. If you lose your last life, the current Hero you are using will become 'injured'. He or she will be added to the Injured list, and become unusable, until you beat the current wave of monsters. There are three waves of monsters. Each time you beat every monster in a wave, you receive a bottle of nectar. The nectar heals everyone in the Injured list, and restores your hearts to four. Any bridges you cut will reappear, so cut them fast to knock out half the attacking monsters.
This is the part in House of Hades where Hazel, Leo, Frank, Jason, Piper, and Nico are ambushed, Hazel and Leo run through a tunnel to find the Doors of Death, and Frank is promoted to Praetor to control the Ghost Warriors. The last part after you win is direct quotes from the book. Jason is in a sleeveless purple Camp Jupiter shirt. Frank is in gray and red armor. Nico is in black. Piper is in her orange Camp Half-Blood T-shirt.
