The arrows move Michael Vey, Space surges him with electricity, an arrow key, while surging, aims a lightning ball he can throw. deep gray is magnetic, so surging while touching deep gray will allow him to climb. lightning balls cannot go through deep purple rubber. Silver, like the boats handrails, and beams and pipes, conduct electricity, so you can hit targets protected by purple. You can run out of electricity, so be careful. It grows by one every 20 seconds, but an easier, more productive way is to find bananas. You can check electricity by looking at Ostin's electrometer. Your goal each stage is to eliminate all enemies, (number of enemies is shown by Ian's electrolocation), by shocking them. (either by hitting them with a lightning ball, touching them and surging, or using silver to conduct the electricity to them.) The last level you fight Torstyn, who throws chairs at you and blows them up with heat.
This is from Michael Vey, Battle of Ampere, where Michael Vey and the Electroclan are trying capture an enemy boat, the Ampere. The electrometer comes from the first book, Prisoner of Cell 25, when Ostin is analyzing Michael's electricity. Ian is a kid who can see through walls with a thing called electrolocation.
