Can anyone who sees this project please help me with the headlights. They won't turn when drifting to the right, and I'm not sure what is causing it. The headlights are sprite 8/7 Read all instructions before playing! Note: Drag the car if it gets embedded into the wall. Loved by WO997 on 1/10/14! CLICK THE GREEN FLAG AT LEAST 3 TIMES! FEATURES Drifting Realistic vehicle damage-Caused by crashing into the building! Acceleration/Deceleration brakes Sounds(more to be added) Realistic physics Nitro Light controls Extremely realistic shadows(position depends on the suns position/shadow gets blocked by other objects) Changing time of day Breakable lamp post-only 1 to prevent lag. Breakable tyres(which change vehicle physics) Tyre/wheel marks(sometimes wont work if there is lag) CONTROLS right/left arrow keys: turn Up arrow key: accelerate Down arrow key: brake/reverse Press&hold the up and down arrow keys simultaneously to wheel spin. Press&hold the up, down, left/right keys simultaneously to drift. Press/hold space to activate the Turbo charger Press 1 to turn lights on/off. Press 0 key to activate traction drifting. Remix this if you want to use it. Please give credit! Trafic AI will not be included in this engine, but there ARE scripts in the game showing how it would be done. This is all in the Civilian sprite. I might make a separate engine for traffic AI. Note: if the background "moves" suddenly when the engine is first run, tyre marks wont appear when drifting. Update;v1.09: Lights disappear when you crash. You can turn lights on/off. I can't find a solution to the lights not turning when you drift to the right! Update;v1.12: Fixed glitch where the headlights will randomly "float" when you have crashed. Front wheels added to the car. Update;v1.13: Drifting physics changed. A new realistic traction system now causes drifting, which causes a slow-turning drift. The original realistic drifting control(Hold accelerator/brake/turn button) is still present, and now allows faster cornering when compared to the new traction system. Drift/wheel spin marks now stamp faster/point in the vehicles direction, which reduces squares forming when drifting at high-speed. Bursting the cars tyres will increase the rotation of the drift, which makes the engine more realistic. Update;v1.13: Changed the traction drift to a setting so you can still use the original turning. Fixed the layering/positioning of the lamp post and lamp post shadow. Update;v1.14: New collision physics script stops wall glitches. Update;v1.15: New realistic car driving sound effect from MotorStorm Apocalypse. Drifting is more controllable like Ms:A. Update;v1.15: Turned the lamp post shadow on(I don't know how it was turned off.)
