MADE FOR @Leafino 's spaceship competition. The Viraki insectoid race are adept spacecraft pilots. All their technology has a unique combination of sharp edges and smooth curves, a combination inspired by the wildlife of their home world. The power orb (a Viraki invention) at the back provides the energy for the entire ship. Since our first meeting, the Viraki have taught us the making of the power orb, the knowledge of which has now spread (with their blessing) to the rest of the galaxy. -Firepower: ■□□□□ The Viraki are not an aggressive race, so their ships are equipped with the most basic weaponry. -Speed: ■■■■■ Instead of facing threats, the Viraki prefer to outmaneuver or escape them. All their ships are capable of springing into turbo boost mode, which increases the ship's maximum speed by over 350%. While most races would crash immediately at this speed, Viraki brains are able to make choices close to the speed of light. -Armor/Shielding: ■■■■□ The Viraki ships rely on powerful invisible force fields that protect their ships from collision and weaponry alike. Solid objects that collide with the shields are deflected with minimum damage. Energy projectiles are absorbed to power the ship. -Life Support: ■■□□□ The Viraki require minimal life support and rudimentary sustenance. Possessing no taste buds, they are content to eat tasteless food-sludge that would disgust most other species. -Cargo Capacity/Crew: ■■□□□ The Viraki are comfortable in cramped spaces, and require very little cargo. This particular starship has a crew of one or two. Instructions: Clicking the green flag will put the ship in display mode. Note the power orb at the back. Then, go into flight mode by clicking the ship. While in flight mode, use the up arrow key to move forward and the left and right arrow keys to turn. Also, press space to go into turbo boost mode. (Don't) Try it in turbo mode!
