❗ Attention ❗ 7/13/20 All of Cloud Live Radio's popular core features and technology have been migrated over to CloudCast. You can find all the latest songs and features there. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/390408281/ My focus will shift over to improving CloudCast. All you have to do is click the green flag, then listen to some tunes! The project will choose the DJ randomly. Turbo Mode is not required for this project. If you are a DJ, you get to choose the music! Click "Choose Music" at the bottom, choose a song, and it will play next for everyone currently listening! Everyone listening will hear the same thing, just like live radio! Are you a New Scratcher? New Scratchers and Guest users can no longer use this project. Please sign in to use Cloud Live Radio. Online Users: Number of users online (including you) Stop Button (next to green flag): Disconnects from live radio and stops all processes. Stop Button (Radio Player Control): Pauses live radio until play button is clicked.
The original live radio project. Truly live. v0.5 (Current Version) - Fixed a long-standing cloud data issue that resulted in data being reset after a project refresh. Also added a cloud connection test at the loading screen. Updated 9/6/19 v0.4.2 - Removed global chat access v0.4.1 - Added four more songs, re-wrote some code, temporarily semi-resolved a cloud data bug affecting Scratch 3.0, improved performance, minor fixes v0.4 - Added a skip song button, as well as added new songs v0.3.4 - Updated for Scratch 3.0 compatibility, updated a few sprites, code changes v0.2.2 - Some sprites were converted to vector v0.2.1 - Added buttons to adjust volume Does not work on low memory/CPU devices. Sorry, Scratch 3.0 problem. Want to suggest new music? Suggest those in the comments! Just like live radio, everyone viewing the project will hear the same thing! All players' music is synced! Music timing will be off by about a second between the DJ and other listeners due to cloud data poll speeds. When a player first enters the project, the music may not be synced with other listeners until the second song is played. You will know when your music is synced with the DJ when you see "LIVE" above the song time indicator. Players who enter may experience a cutoff in the middle of the song, but this is completely normal so that the player could listen to a song in sync with other listeners. You may also experience this cutoff when a new DJ is selected. If the DJ does not choose a song (due to inactivity, etc.), the project automatically selects a song to play. However, if this is repeated 3 times, the DJ is kicked and the project chooses another DJ if available. If a listener is LIVE (listener is in sync with DJ), then a red "LIVE" will appear above the song time indicator. Not all music is 100% clean. Slider for music time is not adjustable. The number of listeners is refreshed every 10 seconds and is controlled by the DJ's project. The project automatically chooses another DJ when the previous DJ has left the project; a new DJ is selected within 20 seconds of the previous DJ leaving.
