Here is the Sky Kingdom royal family for my roleplay, Land of the Shadows (LOTS). Press the space bar to change between characters. They are all symmetrical, meaning they all have the same pattern on their other side. Queen Vega: Vega was raised as a princess by the previous king and queen of the Sky Kingdom during the time of a war between the kingdoms. The king, Vega's father, was killed in battle and her mother, the queen died shortly afterwards due to an unknown sickness, leaving Vega to become the queen at the mere age of 10. This took a huge mental toll on her as well as the kingdom, as the young queen continued to lead her army into reckless, unplanned attacks, eventually resulting in the Sky Kingdom losing the war. This left the kingdom weak and without proper leadership, and the kingdom took many years to return to its original strength. The sudden death of her parents and leadership forced onto Vega left her unpredictable and almost unstable, causing her to act more and more without thinking and issue much darker and sinister punishments on any vix that may commit a crime. Eventually, Vega married Orion, who became the king of the Sky Kingdom. Her health and attitude got slightly better and they had kits, but she still remained a reckless leader, often having emotional breakdowns. She is emotionally unstable and will get agitated easily and act brashly without thinking. Orion often acts as her voice of reason. Although she does love her family Vega often comes off as cold and uncaring towards her children. Theme Song - Runs In The Family - Amanda Palmer UPDATE: With Azure's disappearance, Vega's mood swings, violence and general sanity have gotten far worse. She's nearly constantly angry, cries insanely often and has practically given up all of her ruling responsibilities which have been taken over by Orion. King Orion: Orion was a warrior of the Sky Kingdom who eventually married Vega and became king. He is gentler than his mate and especially caring for his children while also acting as a voice of reason for his mate, but can often become submissive and overlook Vega's intentions. UPDATE: With Azure's disappearance and Vega's condition worsening, Orion has taken over most of the royal duties and running the kingdom. He's almost constantly very weary and has become a complete pushover to anything Vega makes him do, while acting as her emotional support. While he tries his best to be a calm and reasonable leader he's been known to snap as of recently, and rarely smiles anymore. Theme Song: Viva La Vida - Coldplay/Empire - Of Monsters And Men Princess Lyra: Lyra is the oldest princess and the heir to the throne. Being named after the previous queen, one of the strongest rulers the kingdom had, Lyra often feels she has a lot to live up too. She is a born fighter and would do anything to protect her younger sister, Azure. Lyra dislikes the way her mother rules and does what she can to influence and change Vega's decisions. UPDATE: With her sister missing and presumed dead, Lyra has become depressed and extremely stressed. She has trouble juggling her royal duties with her social life, and whenever she's seen in public she's often sleep-delirious and unstable. This state of mind has recently lead her to her recently becoming pregnant, to Frost, a healer. (Owned by @SilverFeatherPro101) The two had no strong connection before this. She can come off as bossy but lacks understanding of her world and her role. She is close with her sister, Lyra, and can be very reliant on her. As she is still young Azure lacks the ability to fly, and is still learning how to use her powers. She seems to be showing an interest in herbs and healing. UPDATE: Azure has been missing for years, and presumed dead by her family and most of the kingdom, although Vega refuses to believe this. Where she has been is living a secret life on the go between kingdoms, doing what she can to survive. She's grown much more surly and gained a better experience of the world, and her positive outlook on life has seemed to have faded.
