BLOOD WARNING
Story: They took her in the night, bringing her out of the forest and to the hills. Now her instructions were "Just guard the sheep". "Just guard the sheep. All you have to do is kill everyone you know if you see them. It'll be easy." Hah. As if. "Lucy" sat on the hill, watching the distant black-and-white specks amble about. In truth, she had no name, but was commonly called "Arctic" at home for her pale coat. When she saw them, she acted fast not thinking about what she was doing. Her fangs and claws sunk into warm flesh just as she understood what was happening. Blood spattered her paws and snout, the metallic taste clogging her mouth. "No, no, no," she wailed. "This isn't happening." Before her lay her parents, their blood on her paws and snout, their blood filling her mouth and eyes and nose. She was drowning. Drowning in guilt and realization. "What have I done," she whispered.
