happy birthday to me yyaaayyyy alright alright alright explanation. So ever since I was 8 years old I always wanted to make animations. I would watch animation memes and dream of the day I could make and share my own. At that time, I had no way to achieve this dream. When I found scratch, at first I thought it was kinda cool to be able to make games on it, but then I found that there were animation memes on scratch. I physically cannot describe exactly how excited I was when I found this out. While it didn't seem like much, being able to recolor and maybe add my own art to make my own animation memes with my own "OCs" made me unimaginably happy. Now, I'm making memes on my own, i'm making my own coding, my own art. I've even made one video from an editing program. Right now, all scratch is doing is holding me back. I can't do precise timing on scratch, i can't do very good tweening on scratch, and scratch kills the quality of my art. Scratch is good for beginners, it's a good place to learn the basics. While I was here, I learned a lot about sharing your stuff to a community, but now I've learned all I can from scratch. The only reason I would stay is for nostalgia. To put it lightly, scratch is a good beginner website, it can do everything from making and sharing games to sharing animations and music you've made. though like all things that claim to it all, it does do them but it does them poorly. Like a shampoo conditioner hybrid. I can make a list of websites that can do what scratch can, but better. animations-Youtube art-DeviantArt music-SoundCloud games-Newgrounds im not saying scratch isnt a good website, it is! All of the websites I just listed are good at their jobs, but they're significantly more advanced than scratch. so what I'm trying to say is Scratch is holding me back leaving scratch is for the best plus i get to swear on the other websites so please, don't try to convince me not to leave i'll still be here to chat once in a while I just won't post as much, if at all
