So yes, the new Spirit Leivo might have a few batteries housed inside. Yes, you can charge this car at home. And yes, the newest iteration of this classic GT car is a plug-in hybrid. We hear you gasping. How could they? Spirit was the last resort for purist cars! Well, actually: You can still do burnouts. And this new system is not made to save gas (although it does.) It's only made for pure performance. Adding 200 extra horsepower going to the front wheels, it's only there to make sure you can go really, really fast. Or you can turn it off.
