This tutorial will show you how to make smooth velocity in scratch without using a single control block(the yellow ones) The reason this works, is because when used as a number, Scratch will interpret true as 1, and false as 0. Press space or right to proceed through the slides, and left to go back. Or just press 'See Inside' and use the custom block in the scratch cat- no permission or credit needed (it's appreciated though) Made this in under half an hour as I've found this out just recently Update(21 Sep 2018): Added a block that moves in the corresponding direction when a boolean input is true(see inside for more) Update(1 Oct 2018): Updated thumbnail with custom text( a first for me) and it's filler, also sorry for the low quality.
