Instructions

Arrow keys. I just need... help. On upwards collisions and slightly sloped surfaces. Ack apparently not

Description

_______________________~Changelog~_____________________ ▻▻Alpha versions◅◅ 1.0, 8/14- created, used directional vectors 1.01, 8/15- advice from @Java_Programmer made me change to x-y vectors, started on that. (considered making a sword game from it, considered scrolling it, decided to possibly do them later) 1.1, 8/16- integrated both approaches, created salty twitching shaky ball. Implemented the right roll effect, or mostly. Added sliders for friction, gravity, elasticity. 1.2, 8/17- got the project to work though jittery, killed infinite velocity bug, then destroyed a mass twitch bug which created a slide-upwards bug, fixed that one, which reduced jitter. 1.3, 9/5- kinda returned to scratch, added water functions, did not fix bad physics, but workable 1.31, 9/8- Changed terrain and animated(ish) water. Worked on upwards collisions, basically did all my work twice (Collisions work for only less than a certain amount of yv, else the ball just goes through) 1.4, 9/17- Completely finished upward collisions (YAY!), only thing left to do is to polish downwards collisions 1.5, 10/1- Broke downwards collisions even more, allowed character to glitch through ground at high velocities (is that an improvement) 1.51, 10/2- Tries to fix it. (fails, but does make sliding somewhat smoother) 1.52, 10/3- Creates the wanted smooth rolling effect, however high slopes are evil 1.53 10/8- High slopes are no longer evil, but glitching through the ground is evil. 1.54, 10/9- High slopes are somewhat evil, glitching through the ground not as much (by now, hardly any progress is made) 1.55, 1/21- took it to myself to continue developing the mess. Upward collisions are BAD. Fixed rolling a bit.
