voila! it's a self portrait that actually looks like me! (closest i'll ever get to a face reveal lol) anyrate this was v fun to do and i'm glad i've finally drawn a realistic self portrait ahaha. it was a photo study but i didn't include the photo because, excuse, that's a picture of me on the bit wide web of stalker that is the internet (jk lol) (half kidding) i used krita and cheated slightly with the color picker but it's very helpful and informative okay ;w; (did not trace tho, traced art is not for sharing) speaking of which something very interesting that i've seen in my photo studies is that almost always, one side of the face will be darker than the other. it's rare to have completely even color on both sides of the face. it's also interesting because, due to the colors surrounding the very dark colors, both sides of the face still look somewhat the same so far as skin tone/color. try picking out a color from the far right side of the face and then one from the left in the editor - you'll see one color is way way darker than the other! better quality: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bmb-kXFgB-5/?taken-by=mimasui please don't stalk me thanks bye
