Leapheart was standing in a clearing, surrounded by tightly packed trees. She began to walk across it, but something gloppy and sticky was slowing her down. A body, unrecognizable as it was tattered and old, lay dead on the floor, the blood seeping viscously from it. She yowled and spun around, and was confronted by an old silvery cat. His eyes were small and sad, and his whole body drooped. It was Sharpclaw, Moonsparkle's dead mentor. "Listen, Leapheart," he rasped. Something terrible is going to happen, and only you can stop it. Death will tear this clan apart. Cats is going to die, and you can't save them, there will be no more ThunderClan." Leapheart stepped back. "Wha-what? Who's going to die? How can I stop it?" "Find the killer. Stop them before its too late. Or there will be four clans no more." He faded away. The blood rose up around Leapheart, and she tried to swim up, but it kept pulling her down, down under the silky crimson. She spluttered as it entered her lungs. "Nooooooooo..." Then everything went black.
