For day 20 of Getting Unstuck I chose to work on my most unfinished project (the only one I shared as a draft) where I was trying to make a clock, messing about with time. I started from that project and "cleaned it up", getting rid of the blocks I wasn't using any more. I made it much simpler, and iteratively refined the idea and added features. The code looks clean now, but it took me hours to get there. Also, I'm amazed by the amount of math involved in this project. I got the spacebar effect by mistake, as I was trying to make the outer circle rotate, and I decided to keep it. Since the beginning I wanted to make a clock inspired by this one that I saw at the Exploratorium a couple of weeks ago: https://vimeo.com/171086587 Music is Voyager by Daft Punk, it was one of the songs I was listening while making the project and I realized that it was perfect because it has 120 bpm, so the beat is synchronous with the tick of the seconds.
