Sand used to live peacefully in the ocean, often visiting the palace deep underwater where both kinds of Flieeras could live without fear of drowning, as the salt and freshwater mixed perfectly there, and happened to be inside the palace when the rockslide occurred, trapping all of them underwater in the dark, with only the palace's light to help them see. Eventually, the other Flieeras evolved to cope with the situation they were in, having no pupils, long snouts, and glowing patterns that changed colors to help them hunt and see, but Sand never changed her ways, for some odd reason. She must constantly be guided when out of the palace by a Deepwater Flieera, and she is their current queen, unknowing of the circumstances the surface above is in, as the Phantom cannot penetrate even their land, but if she knew, she would have figured out a way to escape long ago to help save the broken land from finally shattering, though she is already plotting an escape, not longing to watch her subjects live in misery with hardly any food to eat for much longer. . . Will she and the other Deepwaters escape? Only time will tell.
