This Project is a simulation of the Plasma Globe / Orb created by MIT student Bill Parker, based on the Plasma Lamp (inert gas discharge tube) invented by Tesla, at the heart of which is a Tesla coil. Plasma (ionised gas) is often viewed as the 4th state of matter. Polar Aurorae (Northern & Southern Lights) & Lightning are natural plasmas while Plasma Orbs and Neon Lights are artificially produced plasmas.
