When you press the green flag, it brings you to the building stage. There, you can start building your level. Press space or use the arrow keys to navigate the tile types. Press E to erase all, or navigate the tiles to get to the eraser tile. When you are done, press R to run the level. When you press R it also prevents you from placing any other blocks and the cat can interact with the block even before you place it so when you press r, make sure your cursor is in an inaccessible place. Water doesn't do anything yet and you can technically walk on top of the ladders but you can't climb on them yet. You must place an end flag to end the level and there is no scrolling. (I might add scrolling later). Note: The best tiles to use for the platforms are the grass block, the dirt block, and both types of stone. You can walk on the platforms and the logs but sometimes you go through them. You just go straight through the boxes including the danger one so don't use those as platforms. Also, you must have your cursor on the actual sprite part of the tile, not just the snapping part of tile otherwise it won't place the block.
I saw @griffpatch_tutor's idea and thought I'd create my own version of it.
