~ My School Life I'm busier and busier every day, as I'm in a selective school. In Australia, there is a test called the selective test which you take in grade 6. You select 3 different selective schools, which are schools for smart and gifted students, and then take a test which loads of other students take. I don't know much of the details about that, so ask Google about the Selective Test. Anyways, I got into a selective school that I wanted to do. And now, I'm in Grade 9. As a selective student, the work here is more difficult than other school's homework, which forces me to spend more time on homework. Additionally, I'll have to study harder and harder as time goes on as well as prepare for future tests in school as well. ~ My Cyber Life I started on my first account late 2015, @Vicodinator. Believe me or not, I got that name by modifying an auto corrected version of a word I got, and that word was vicodin. (Vicodin is a type of medicine fyi) I thouroghly enjoyed Scratch. During primary school, we would have certain times where we would have computer classes, where we would learn Scratch and other stuff about computers. I was always on Scratch on those computer lessons, doing whatever came out of my head. During that time, I was around grade 5 or 6, where the work wasn't that difficult and homework was completed in a matter of minutes. Assignments were also much simpler, leaving lots of free time for me. During that free time, I would study some academics for future lessons and to prepare for the selective test, but for the rest I would go on Scratch. Scratch was my life back then and other than gaming, I probably spent a huge amount of time on Scratch. Too much. I was slowly realising I was getting addicted to scratch in Year 7, where I was allowed to use computers during Recess and Lunch breaks. I was on Scratch all the time. In class and at home. This affected my academics and made me realise my marks were lower than my original expectations. So I took a short break, and then I wanted to leave. Wanted. I was unable to discipline myself to stop doing scratch, but I was at least able to stop being on scratch during class. I then made this account on January, 2016. I decided to animate a bit more. However, that was when our school introduced Adobe Creative Cloud into the school curriculum. That's when I discovered Adobe Premiere and After Effects. I discovered how flexible these programs are, and these programs didn't impact my studies as well. That is when I started to question: Should I quit Scratch for good? I didn't want to quit back then, but now it is all different. I feel like I'm ready to move on from Scratch and start moving forward. ~ And Now? I won't be posting anything else on this profile, but I won't be doing much, if not, then nothing on Scratch.
