I got help from Snowflake Simulator from the book Coding Projects in Scratch: A step-by-step visual guide to coding your own animations, games, simulations and more! by Jon Woodcock @RoboSquid. This was a good starting off point for me. I need to work on and improve my understanding and use of more complex variables and conditions. This has also been a good way for me to work on these challenges while exploring resources that I just received for use in my classroom next year.
