Welcome to PokéShock, the Pokémon Engine for Scratch! Use the arrow keys to navigate around the map and press space while facing a sign to read it! Q&A _______________________________________________________ How does it work? PokéShock uses an array system to switch the costumes of 25 different sprites to give the appearance of movement though none is taking place. It is a highly sophisticated system that I have been working on since before I moved. ________________________________________________________ Is it done? PokéShock is currently in early alpha stages and is still WIP. However I will be constantly updating it and adding content and making minor revisions. ________________________________________________________ Can I use it? I cannot stop you from using it, because every shared Scratch project is registered under the Creative Commons License and is allowed to be used. I would advise not using it, because if you use it now, you will miss out on new content, there are still some glitches (particularly with the edge sensory), and It is a fragile system that will break if used incorrectly. I haven't made a tutorial on using it yet, but once a stable version is released, you can count on a tutorial. ________________________________________________________ Any big projects? Currently, the PokéShock Engine (PSE) is not being used in any big projects, because like I mentioned earlier, PSE is still in early alpha. When a stable version is released, I would like to start on a "Pokémon Shock Green" ________________________________________________________ Anything else I should know? I do not own the Pokémon Franchise nor any of its characters, nor am I claiming to.
