Here's my part for @Lazy-Llama's 'What We're Made Of' MAP! I really enjoyed making this and DID manage to meet the deadline (phew)! The topic of the MAP is 'girl power' and equal rights, which is something I am very interested in. Think back 100 years, and women in Britain had only just been given the right to vote (that is if they met requirements set by the government), were not given anywhere near an equal pay to men in most professions, and were expected to marry as soon as possible (without the later option of divorce). Times have changed so drastically it is hard for us to imagine. Nowadays, girls like me in the UK are given a free education that is just as good as the one given to boys. When I'm older, I could go to university. Get a job. Travel the world - the possibilities are endless. Hopefully one day it will be this way all around the world.
