I have always loved the Dog 2 sprite in Scratch 2.0. He's so blue and appears curious/confused by the world. If I had more time I would equip him with a wide range of resting behaviours - I remember liking Crash Bandicoot's resting actions on the PS game so much that sometimes I would leave him standing there just to watch them. I thought about giving him sounds as he walks or thinks, but they weren't necessary and I removed them. Dog2 is quiet sophistication personified.
