This project searches a list of about 10,000 high-frequency English words for items that match a typed query. To search the list, just start typing your query. A list of matching words will automatically be generated and refined as you type. Press the left arrow to delete a letter from your query. Press the right arrow to restore a deleted letter. Press space to start a new query. If a query returns more than 48 words, use the up and down arrows to review the entire list. Click anywhere to hide or show the narrator sprite.
I was just playing around here with methods for rapidly isolating items in a list. The complete word list is available on GitHub: https://github.com/first20hours/google-10000-english It contains about 10,000 of the most common English words in order of frequency, as determined by n-gram frequency analysis of Google's Trillion Word Corpus. (Profanity has been purged from this version.) Thanks to @theChAOTiC for the text engine.
