I've tried to keep this series unique as a Scratch series can be, but there's only so much you can do - as most series are aimed at a younger age, there are always a few key themes that pop up as they're easy to work with while working with a younger audience. One of these themes is definitely magic; you've probably noticed it in a lot of other Scratch series. I was actually inspired greatly by JA White's The Thickety book, which I am currently reading for the second time. Perhaps similarities stem from the book and Scratchers interpret them as those that occur in other animated series. There may be several other similarities that you notice. Though you are welcome to think what you like, you need not point them out. If it's something that offers no positivity or constructiveness, it needs not be said. In other words, like the old saying goes: if you don't have anything kind to say, don't say anything at all. Come on Scratch. Making The Power of Four trailer before the episode put me under too much pressure to finish something that I had no energy for and hadn't planned out /at all/. In other words... procrastinator + pressure & high expectations = doomed to fail And the truth is, I grew out of it. After a while, the idea of The Power of Four didn't appeal to me like it used to. Though it was fun while it lasted and I'll always love the memories, I had to move on. Note: I'm sorry if you voice auditioned and never heard back. It's not personal. You were all amazing <3 ☆,｡･:~:･ﾟ☆,｡･:~:･ﾟ ★,｡･:~:･ﾟ☆,｡･:~:･ﾟ★,｡･:~:･ﾟ☆,｡･:~:･ﾟ O N A N O T H E R N O T E ☆彡 Lately, I've been feeling so uninspired and unmotivated. So when I wanted to make an animated series, I got stuck in with no hesitation. I developed characters, designed costumes; wrote, edited and honed a script, planned the storyline for episodes to come, recorded the voices, made music for the series and fine-tuned bugs. During this incredibly time-consuming process, I realised something: animating a series is a huge commitment. There are so many aspects that go into it, so much you need to do for it to be perfect. And now the first episode is finished! I wanted to keep it a surprise, so, surprise! Lol. Here's the first episode of Spellbound, my new original animated series. I hope you enjoy.
