Hey guys! Thanks so much for all you've done for me in the past year on scratch! I really appreciate all of the support you guys have been giving me. I especially want to thank all of my followers for showing me that I could get as far as I did in the past year,I never thought I'd be closing in on 500 followers. So thanks to all of you! _______ To commemorate 1 year, here is my scratch story so far: I made my first scratch account back in March of 2017 because I wanted to learn how to code as well as my friends. They used scratch at the time so I decided to create my own account. At the time, I just posted random stuff to be honest. When I tried to make my own games and projects, they either wouldn't work or they were just not comparable to the scratchers who made games. That's when I stumbled upon animators. I thought it was really cool how they could make their own mini TV show like projects. I wanted to try doing the same. But I needed a change first. My old account only had 3 followers after half a year of uploading. Including myself. I moved to this account to start learning how to animate. When I first started, I had my potato OC which was "Animated" with lip sync engines and all of that stuff. I started pretty slowly however with no followers or views for weeks after I shared my projects I realised I needed to get some publicity. I put all of my projects in all of the open animations studios and I waited for the views to start coming in. It worked. I started getting around 15-20 views on every project sometimes getting a like or a favourite. Around that time, I realised if a popular scratcher noticed me then I would potentially get more attention. So I joined animation contests. Not making the first round many times but finally I made it to the first round of a competition. The A+ Animators. There were so many great animators in the contest that I didn't think I could stand a chance. Although I made it to the final round. In this round, I was against the likings of TASC and zwilken. I placed 5th. Before that contest I had 24 followers. Afterwards, I had 150. Since then I have been followed by some really popular animators who have told me they like my animations. That was one of my biggest goals for this account. To be followed by the best of the best. So to all of you guys who don't think it's possible, guess again. I didn't think I could do it either. I thought I'd just a scratcher who wouldn't get any views and just show my friends the things I've made, but hey, you never know what could happen. So thanks again for all of the support guys!
