Instructions

UPDATE: AFTER SCRATCH 3.0 A HUGE AMOUNT OF CODING HAS BEEN DAMAGED. THIS GAME MAY NOT WORK AS IT SHOULD. Check out the Companion to help you along: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/237066508 Main Menu - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0 will change the cursor (for fun). Credits - Press C in the Menu. Movement - WASD Map - Press M to view, click to close. Quick Menu - Left/Right arrows to scroll through items. Click to use. Spells - Buttons around the screen for mounts/pets/items and spells. Quests - Press Q to open the task. Traders - Press Space whilst on a trader to view their store. If you want to close a menu, click in blank space. There are some Easter Eggs in the game, explore the map to find them. Try to find the Stone Bear, the Sword in the Stone, the Scalded Footprint...and remember, dragon burial mounds hold many secrets. I wanted to add so much more however I've broken every limit on Scratch. I've ran out of data in the project (49.9/50), I couldn't make this an MMORPG or add save slots due to the cloud variable limits. To counteract this I have made the game as a shorter, one time play style of game which you can play over and over again.

Description

The adventure is all yours with: Day and Night cycles, the map becomes very different! 10 Playable Classes (Over 50 spells to master) 21 Unique Armour Sets (Craft to unlock special powers) 5 Jewellery Sets (Strengthen your character) 14 Material Types (For making armour and fires) 9 Wild Flowers (Eat the right ones to heal yourself) 18 Pets to summon (Including Wolf Cubs and Bear Cubs) 51 Mounts to capture and ride (Including Bears, Wolves, Lions and Mammoths) A huge world to explore, mounts and pets to tame, armour to craft and spells to rule the realm. Start your journey today! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This has been both a dream and a nightmare to programme. Even if only a few people see this at least I can be proud of completing such a complex project of not only programming, but design. How long did this take me? I started it over a year ago, the earliest file I can find was created: ‎22 ‎June ‎2017, ‏‎19:23:28 I've spent many whole weekends, a hundred evenings and a lot of late nights (also a lot of coffee). The time taken was down to development, making things work nicely not just getting it to work. As well as this I've spent a lot of time designing, resource finding and rethinking because on many occasions Scratch crashed on me - which is not good! So I've had to delete a lot of codes and designs and do it all again differently, a whole day of work could sometimes go to waste if my plan failed. The inventory took over a week in itself, and that's solid days of working.
