My first attempt at today's project (left arrow) is an iteration of something I have done before. I felt that I ought to challenge myself a bit so I worked on the second pattern (right arrow). It isn't overly complex, but it took some tinkering and math to get everything lined up just so. With more time I would work on a more complicated design.
