Description

Check out my other project Bomberman Scratch - http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/16556665/ Update Logs: 0.85 ->v0.3 -Reworking a lot of the code. Added High Score Table and A few sound effects. I'm backtracked the version number because I feel the game is a lot less complete and a 0.8x version. v0.85 -First Update Logs -Added Run Capability (experimental) -Added Green Fireball -Added High score (now displayed on the main menu) -Modified mob's collision script to include flipped mobs -(BROKEN)Added capability to flip mobs back over using platforms (previously only available using POW) -(BROKEN)tweaked flip detection (still not perfect) -misc bugs fixed Bugs: -Enemy hit detection is partial (very finicky) -Enemies sometimes spawn infinitely (possibly fixed - let me know in comments) -Platform hit detection is partial (also very finicky) -POW hit detection is partial (possibly fixed - let me know in the comments) Current Progress: -Player 75% -Stage Gen 90% -Monsters 25% -Physics 50% -Sound and Effects 10% Credits: Shigeru Miyamoto and Gunpei Yokoi for Original game, Graphics, Sound effects(not implemented), and Music(not implemented) and Zirkit for the idea of recreating this My Initial Idea was to take his project and make it complete, However... I kinda had my own ideas about too many of the things he did with it so I started it over from scratch. I remixed it so he'd still retain credit for the Original Idea. This is my attempt at a full recreation of Mario Bros (not Super Mario Bros) for the NES. Feel free to Remix however you like but please give credit where credit is due (unless you do a complete overhaul). -Features -2 different player skins (Game A and Game B) -Semi-Functional enemies, responds to player collision, gravity, warp pipes and other enemies (partial bugged), enemies level up and change colors with certain procs (last enemy and flip overs) -Player character can die, has a set number of lives, Affected by gravity and can bump platforms above him to flip enemies (Broken). -Randomly spawning coins and preps for bonus stage. -Randomly spawning Fireballs (Don't touch them or else) -Limitations -No Sound or BGM -Single type of enemy -No Bonus stage -No 1UP score checkpoints -Enemies stay flipped if left alone
