◯ Akwaline's Oceans ◯ Name: Harika Gender: Female Age: 21 Habitat: Sunlight Zone Role: Mercenary for hire Magic Wand: Coral Stats Strength: 9/10 Speed: 4/10 Intelligence: 6.5/10 Magic: 0.5/10 Personality: Harika is practically the embodiment of the giant shark she has the pattern of with her confidence and stubbornness. The big akwaline has always been in charge in her group of friends, perhaps not being the smartest but being level headed enough to make a beneficial decision. Once she's made a decision she won't back down from it, fighting tooth and claw to make sure it goes through. If she hates you it'll probably take a few years for the grudge to fade, even then unless you're family you'll probably still get a scornful look once in awhile. Backstory: Harika grew up with her parents and two sisters on the outskirts of Piesces. She was the firstborn of three sisters, the other two being Tibua and Ballena. She and her sister Tibua had gotten a good amount of love and time before Harika hit the age of 4, when Ballena was born. While Harika could hardly lift a rock, Tibua couldn't lift a pebble. Meanwhile it seemed like Ballena had the potential to raise up a city by the way her parents praised and adored her. Unlike Tibua who continued to try and grab their attention, the stormy gray akwaline decided she should go somewhere she's appreciated. So even at her young age she left quickly after the morning meal to go explore the kingdom. But it wasn't for about two years until she actually met any friends. While she was chasing a school of fish she found three other akwaline a little older than her. She didn't quite realize how much larger than the average akwaline she was until then since the three swam right up to her thinking she about two years older. They told her she looked scary and mad enough to intimidate other akwalines, which she wasn't sure wether to be offended by or not, to make them do what she wanted. Then they asked her to threaten some akwaline into not teasing them anymore. She pretty desperate for some friends at the time, so she agreed and figured sense she always got a bit frightened when her mother shouted at her for knocking over a valuable. So they might go away if she shouted at them. She tried, extra loud and meanie like. To her surprise it worked. Best of all, she had friends now. Who appreciated her for not-magic! Out of gratefulness and relief those were the friends she stuck with, even after she soon learned what they did. Thieving and scams. They would go to the market everyday and steal a few treats and trinkets. It didn't take her long to realize she was no good of a thief, being too big and not very subtle. Harika couldn't go too near a market stall without getting eyed. But she did find another role in the group. Whenever someone got inevitably caught by the watchful eye, she talked the merchant out of giving her friends a good drift wood beating or a shouting. Then earnestly promised that this would never happen again. She of course got cursings and grumblings, but it was better than the usual. But to make her thieves feel avenged she would always come up with a more discreet plan than swimming right up and snatching something. As the plans worked a good portion of the time, her ideas were usual the get go stealing method. More akwalines around the younger age range started joining the little group over the next few years, including her sister Tibua. At first she tried to get Tibua to stop with the fear of her getting in trouble, but as it turned out Tibua was a natural thief and liar the second the got put on the spot. Harika begrudgingly supposed it couldn't hurt too much. With the growth she noticed more and more akwaline coming to her, asking her for approval on heist targets or questioning her about joining the... gang. It didn't really occur to her until an akwaline called it a gang that she was... running a gang. Eventually Harika got informed of rival groups of thieves wanting to rob the same places her gang did. Now everyone expected her to deal with it. The negotiation with the first gang resulted in a brawl between her and the leader. With the cost of getting a small chunk of her dorsal fin bit off and a few lesser scratches and bites, she won. It got her more respect and an alliance with one of the other gangs she was told of. Her power only and grew and grew until she was 19 years of age. Harika woke up one morning to feel like something was wrong. She usually just woke up and left to go meet with her group but she knew something was out of place from her normal routine. She checked with Tibua who told her Ballena was missing. Harika didn't really have much of a relationship with her youngest sister but she knew she was a decent akwaline. So all in all she was worried. And distracted. It was a usual heist today, but Harika still had to make the preparations and organization for it. She did. But with her distractions she didn't do it right. She mixed the times

Description

akwalines would be around to spot thieves with another shop. The news quickly got out ten akwalines had been caught raiding a jewelry store. Harika was ashamed and put down. But that feeling only worsened when she learned Tibua had simply disappeared. Thinking she wasn't fit anymore, she passed down her authority to her second in command and left her parents and her gang. Harika didn't want to sit around and work and live in one place, but she didn't want to be an aimless wanderer either. But she looked brutish and beat up enough to do some dirty work a smaller akwaline might want not to do, or maybe be a body guard. With that she became a mercenary for hire, wandering around the kingdom and offering to do dirty work for pay whether it be legal or not. At first she would drop the question of Ballena and Tibua, actually getting a pointer every few days on Tibua but never a word on Ballena. With that she figured Tibua was alive and simply found a better life. So she simply stopped trying for Tibua and didn't talk too much of Ballena. It's how she is to this day. Finally Notes and Credits: Credit to @Dragongirl59 for the amazing roleplay and bio sheet! I finally finished the three shark sisters and can move on to other characters. This backstory was super long and you are even more of a saint than you would be for reading Ballena's story if you read all through Harika's. She was fun to make like her two sisters and she's free to roleplay at the moment!
