Peonies are one of my favorite flowers, but they only bloom between April and June. During these months, I fill my home with any many peonies as I can find. I looked inside a few projects in the Day 2 studio before getting started on my project. I was interested to see the different strategies people used to accomplish their projects. I drew the peony in the Paint Editor. I knew I wanted the finished project to be a stage filled with peonies of all colors and sizes, so I played around with the color and size effects.
