So, this is what some scratchers think about the upcoming update to scratch, called scratch 3, or 3.0. Here we go! Opinions: @-Cinematic- Looks exciting but I'm scared that because now HMTL is super fast and nice, it could mess up my projects. @Scratchtwins-691 It reminds me of Scratch Jr a lot @Scratchcat74 It looks kind of little-kid-ish, you know, “oh look guys let’s make everything easy and bubbly and colorful for you!” But overall I guess it’s ok... @MrRaisin Um, it'll be hard to adjust and I don't like the way the blocks are organized :P @-Rocket- I haven’t played around with it too much, but from what I’ve seen it doesn’t look as bad as some people are saying is (maybe just because I haven’t used it enough). It’s definitely different, but that’s just because it’s the new version. I agree about the block size issue, but I like things such as the vector eraser and the new audio editor. That’s all I’ve got so far, cause like I said, haven’t used it a lot XD @ClassicRedJacket I'm excited, and it will be a huge challenge to animate @Theamazing_scratcher I am looking forward to the new tools available (with the vector editor, sound effects, etc.) However, the main thing that I'm not liking is the lack of a border in the block-placing area (what is that even called? xD), and, of course, the unnecessary amount of padding and brightness on the new block designs. But overall, I can't wait for something new, even if it'll take a bit to get used to. :3 @HehtorOCH Well, I haven't seen a lot of it, but from what I've experienced it looks polished and decent. I think too many people are overreacting about it by saying '' they'll leave when it comes out '', especially since a lot of them haven't even TRIED it. And yeah, I am looking forward to it, although I will miss the original 2.0. But that's all the more reason to appreciate it while we still have it. :) @TNTsquirrel It feels like its now aiming for an even younger audience @MCivilization Eh, its ok. The workspace is smaller, which I don't like, and they switched the side that the preview editor is on, so I'll have to get used to that.
My opinion: I don't like how the window moves to the other side and how the blocks look like.
