Dawn was always more laid-back then her sister. Their rouge parents were terrible. One day they both strayed onto the thunderpath, and almost died, but the two kits were rescued by Rippletail of Thrushclan. They grew up in Thrushclan, but one day Rippletail was mysteriously killed. Cats say that their old rouge parents killed her, for taking their kits. Woodstar eventually became leader and she chose Dawnfeather as deputy. Dawnfeather became mates with Thornlight after they went on a hunting patrol together. Dawnfeather gave birth to Rosekit.
