Prologue: Flame was spurting from trees. The whole forest was on fire, not even stopping. Moonstar gasped. Her whole Clan was going to be burnt down! "No!" she yowled, tears building up in her eyes. She jumped awake. She sighed in relief. It was only a dream. She noticed the several claw marks on the floor of her den, leaving proof that she had had a struggle with her dream. She flicked her ears, as if flicking away a fly. Only a dream, she thought. Calm down... Moonstar trotted outside to see that the fresh-kill pile had been restocked. She picked out a very fat vole and began to eat. It was faintly squashed, as if a herd of mice came running over it, but she didn't care. She was too hungry to care. She wolfed it down and went over to see her deputy, Tigerbloom. Tigerbloom waved her tail in greeting as Moonstar padded over. "Greetings, Moonstar," she meowed. "How are you?
