Wiltedpaw launched into Shalekit, pinning her ,''Come on, when will you be an apprentice with me? You already fight like a warrior, Shalekit!" Wiltedpaw swatted her mitt at her, claws sheathed. ''For real, plus I want to help you look for your apprentice collar!'' Shalekit flailed under Wiltedpaw's grasp. ''Me too!'' another small voice called from the moss nest. ''No Sparrowkit, you're too SMALL to come with us!'' Shalekit meowed out to her. ''So? I'm still coming'' Sparrowkit flattened her ears, padding over to them. ''Fine then..'' Wiltedpaw sighed,''let's go.'' she finished. They saw a large figure come from a dark ally way. ''Hey, I think that's a dog, let's go attack it!'' Shalekit yowled. ''No, are you mousebrained? We don't stand a chance against a dog, even me.'' Wiltedpaw glared at Shalekit. ''Look, hurry it dropped something!'' Sparrowkit's let out a mrrow of excitement. ''Okay, but that looks big..'' Shalekit padded to the ally, cautiously looking out for the dog. ''I'll get it.'' Wiltedpaw whispered as she darted after it, she latched it in her jaws, running out of the ally way. She dropped it down, now visible in the sunlight... ''WHAT DID YOU DO?!'' Shalekit wailed, running back to her mother, Toadsong. There was a white tom, dead obviously, reeking of crowfood. ''It must have been dead for a long time to smell like this!'' Sparrowkit's nose wrinkled in disgust. ''Here, though, look!'' Wiltedpaw jerked off the collar from the tom's neck. Shalekit scrambled back to them hissing a warning,''I told mom you found a cat in the ally!'' They looked at the collar. ''Well, what are we waiting for then?'' Sparrowkit picked it up in her jaws,''Lean down, Wiltedpaw.'' she murmured with her jaws full. As Wiltedpaw leaned over, Sparrowkit dropped the collar over her neck. Using her paws, she clasped it together, it made a snapping sound, making her jump back from it. ''There! Now you can use that old dog tooth we found!'' Shalekit's ears perked up. Wiltedpaw tugged at it with her claw. ''How does it come off?'' she muttered softly. ''It doesn't come off!'' Sparrowkit smirked. ''Come on, I hear our names being called!'' Sparrowkit raced back with Shalekit and Wiltedpaw.
