This is a project about Scripps National Spelling Bee. I made it because I am extremely excited since I am in a regional spelling bee and it is tomorrow, February 7!!! I will post the results and tell you if I win, the next step being the nationals!!! Update: It was very fun and exciting! I made it to the fourth round by correctly spelling the words safari, sequin, and cachet. I incorrectly spelled the word regale as "regail". I hope I can do it again next year! BTW, it started at 5:15 PM, and I got out around 9:05 PM, so if there are many spellers, it takes a long time. There were approximately 40-50 people still in when I spelled the word incorrectly, but everyone out in the same round receives the same place. The winner was in sixth grade and the brother of last year's winner. He correctly spelled irrepressible to win the spelling bee. BTW, I was written about in one local newspaper; 179 words just about my experience at the spelling bee!
