The ginger and white cat is Dawnpaw (she-cat), and the black and brown cat is Reedpaw (tom). When the two cats were out hunting together, suddenly, a storm broke out. They quickly tried to hurry home, but Dawnpaw's paw got stuck under a tree root. Reedpaw desperately barreled into her to get her unstuck right when the tree that was behind them fell. Reedpaw's tail was crushed and Dawnpaw goes to get help fast.
