Zuul blinked, since it had been a good while since he had been like this. He rolled his shoulders, and looked over at the dragonets in front of him. Sure enough, he had been seeing it right. The Night Dragon, Nova, was indeed hovering in the air, stiff as her wounds were healed. Zuul has unsurprised by this, after all, he had seen it all before. He was about to begin his epic entrance, when he was interrupted by the really small Plant Dragon that Shard was really fond of. What, was his name again? Olive? Okapi? Ocelot? He was pretty sure it was Ocelot, but it didn’t matter. The tiny thing was pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Zuul had been so lost in thought that he had forgotten the Plant Dragon had noticed him. Though he hadn’t said anything yet. He was just kinda standing there, gaping at him. Eventually, Zuul thought he was finally going to speak, but all that came out were incoherent noises. It wasn't words, but it was enough to grab the attention of the Earth Dragon, Rose? That was probably it, but like the Plant Dragon, she was irrelevant. But unlike him, she could actually speak. “Shard?!?!” She said, her face filled with confusion with a bit of terror mixed in. But what this dragon thought of him didn’t really matter then. Even if his original plan had been spoiled by the tiny one, he could still make a grand entrance. “I’m afraid not my dear. Your companion is not currently present. However, I’m here, and as lovely as Shard is, I think I’m an improvement.” Zuul was pleased to discover that his voice was still intact. He had had problems with that in the past, and he was glad those problems weren’t interuppting him now. The two dragons in front of him looked even more flabbergasted then before, but the female took an aggressive stance, and was preparing to lunge. Zuul wasn’t surprised by this, as she had appeared to be the most aggressive of the new dragons. So when she lunged, Zuul casually pointed his claw towards a tree nearby, and she was flung into, pinned. She struggled, but it was pointless. Zuul’s powers were far too powerful for her, even though her attempts to free herself were funny. But he still had to deal with the other one. He had proven to be small and cowardly, and yet, as Zuul turned to him, he saw him using his shapeshifting ability to make himself larger, but it was going very slowly. Zuul was a bit startled by this, but he could see his shaking body and his terror filled eyes. Smirking, Zuul flung him into another tree, but instead of his back hitting the tree like the female, his head slammed against it, and he went limp. “OCELOT!” the female screamed, and Zuul discovered Ocelot had been the right name. He let the male fall to the ground, seeing as he wouldn't be struggling anytime soon. But the female’s screeching was annoying, so Zuul promptly used his magic to shut her up. The two problems dealt with, he approached the only one the was actually important. She still remained stiff and hovering, her eyes closed. It would be easy to finish her off. Unfortunately, things could never truly be in Zuul’s favor, as just then, the vessel settled on the ground, and her eyes shoot open, now pure white. Zuul hissed, taking a step back. Of course, she just had to do this right then. She looked around for a moment, before she noticed Zuul. She looked surprised, but then her eyes narrowed. “You.” “Me.”
Yay, more of Shard, the character you know almost nothing about! ... You know, that actually describes all of my characters But he's not alone this time! Another character is here...But you just can't see him. Kinda. Sorta. It's complicated. If anyone can guess how he's here, they get... my respect. That's a good prize, right? You know, I don't actually have a name for this character, so for now, let's just call him...Zuul. Yeah, Zuul is fitting, and it'll work as a temporary name for now.
