I worked so hard on every other aspect of the image, but when it came time for the top of the futuristic island to the right... ehhhhh.............
So towards the end of the year before I got out for the summer my LA teacher gave me and my classmates a bookmark with a quote on it. My quote was "reading will take you places you've never been before". Then immediately the idea for the painting popped into my head as I read it. So I sketched down the basic shapes on a paper then I got home and started working on it. I'm so happy with how it turned out, though there are things I could have improved on iv'e still seldom done art with no lines. Also the teacher may or may not have only been my favorite because she gave me food through-out the year but.... shhhhhhhhh,,,, The art program used is Procreate in the IOS store
