This is my WoF oc Abyss! I decided to draw her because she is really fun to draw. She is an animus Nightwing/Seawing hybrid who is the daughter of an animus nightwing father and a seawing mother. Her scales are a dark blue/indigo with purple glowing aquatic marks. She wears ad earring with a sapphire with amethyst flaws at the end, and has silver scales on her wings like a nightwing. Her necklace has a special pendant made from silver embedded with turquoise, and it was given to her by her mother before she and her father left due to trying to protect Abyss from herself. Her father was an animus and wanted his powers to pass down t his daughter, but when he realized she had not inherited then he enchanted her to have artificial powers, which were stronger than he realized and she had a hard time controlling. He accidentally incorporated a curse into the enchantment go so she cannot breach the surface of the sea without suffocating and dying, so she must stay underwater. The swirl on her cheek is a symbol of the curse. She grew up to be an guide for travelers who got lost in her part of the sea, and she guarded passing dragons with her enchantments, causing the trench she lived in to be known as the Sanctuary, so lost dragons who were in danger could hide in its depths and become impossible to locate by anybody but herself. She also became a prospector and sold her enchanted wares to by-passers. She used to be bitter and cursed those who offended her, becoming feared by all. But one day, a seawing visited her cave. She challenged him, but he said he was being hunted by Queen Coral for treason and needed a place to shelter. This intrigued her so she sheltered him, and they fell in love. She felt her grief lift as she knew what it felt like, but one day the seawing, Oyster, wandered to close to the surface and was caught and killed by Coral's guards. Her heart broke all over again, but she promised to make sure what happened to him never happened to any other dragon. She would always carry the weight of grief for the life she could have had without her powers, but she tried to use them for good instead of evil or not at all, and ended up leaving a great legacy on the tribes that knew of her, though nobody ever visited her cave. Abyss is 28 years old. Well that was long and dramatic. I am surprised you made it all the way down here! Hope u guys like this! It is completely random! I need to do more drawings like this one.
