Select the appropriate settings and get hunting! This counter allows you to easily keep track of how many encounters you've done, as well as manage the eggs in your party while breeding for a shiny. You simply press the space-bar to add 1 to the counter, and use the "up" and "down" arrows to add or remove eggs. Hit the "0" (Zero) key to reset the counter. The chain counter will automatically reset, as the game resets the chain after it hits 255.
