BACKSTORY- Alpaca was born with strange eyes; the were icey, with bright red ovals for pupils. They didn't seem to do anything, though. Alpaca didn't know wha he was capable of until he was 5. "Come on, Alpaca," his father said, trying to get his son to follow his sister, Snowflake. "Go with your sister and play like everyone else." "But, um, I'm really tired," Alpaca said with a fake yawn. "Can't I just stay here?" "Everyone else at your age is playing. No exceptions to you," his father said sternly "Besides, you need to learn to be social. Go. Now." He began to shove Alpaca towards Snowflake, making him bound of with a yelp. Instantly, he tried to find a place to hide. Of course, he wasn't really tired. The truth was that he knew someone- Hailstorm, precisely- would bully him because of his eyes. He buried himself into the snow, hoping for the best. Hailstorm found him in a matter of minutes. "Hey there, Ice-eyes!" he laughed, knocking him out of the snow. "Whatcha doin cowering in the snow?" "Its Alpaca," Alpaca answered without answering. "You know that." "Oh, yeah, I forgot, your name makes it seem like your a girl. Sorry!" he said sarcastically. Alpaca looked down. "Hailstorm. Stop." he said, sternly. "What, you think you can beat me in a fight?" he yelled, laughing. "Come at me, you little scaredy-cat. Or should i say, scaredy-alpaca?" Alpaca had had enough. Rage began filling up, taking away his chill. He turned around to glare at Hailstorm. Was it just him, or did hear a small crack, like thin ice...? Hail smirked happily. "Its go time, folks," he said, a small crowd beginning to gather. He took a few steps forward. Then he almost instantly stopped. Something new in his eyes took over. Fear. It took Alpaca a moment to notice that ice was layering itself over him. "Wait... WHAT?!" He took a step back, Hailstorm now an ice statue. How... why... was it my fault? That thought made Alpaca want to run. He slammed his eyes shut, letting the psychic sight take over. Well, now I know why I can see psychically. He took a step back, then another, then bolted into the wilderness. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He had forgotten why his father had always advised not going into the wilderness. Was it because he was only five? He turned left and almost collide into a dragon. 'Ohhhh, thats right,' he thought, suddenly remembering all the horror stories his dad had told him about Bewilderbeasts. Oversized monsters that can-and will- eat you in one bite. But this one was nothing like that, she seemed just as scared as he was. She was taller than him, but not that much taller, and certainly didn't seem like a monster. "How do you know I'm here?" she asked, her voice quavering. "Um... I can see psychically," Alpaca answered, slowly. "Oh," she said, becoming surprisingly calm. "That makes sense. Well, I, uh.. I have to go. Bye!" She began to hurry off. "I should be out of the alpines by now..." Slowly, Alpaca begane to follow her. "Why are you following me?" she said, her voice raising. "You- your not trying to kill me, are you?" "What? No," Alpaca answered. "I mean, do you think I could kill you?" "I'm not afraid of you killing me," she said, softly. "I'm afraid of me killing you." Alpaca noticed that her talons clenched. The moment she noticed, she shook them out. Slowly, he whispered "Me too." She gave him a generally curious look. "You mean, your afraid of killing me? Do YOU think you can kill me?" "Well, I ran away from my tribe because I turned someone to ice by looking at them, so, yessss...?' She gave him a look, but not the one that he expected. "Really? Wow. I didn't know cats could do that." "I'm pretty sure I'm a first." The dragon stared down at her talons. "Um...i-if I tell you this, can you promise me, please don't hate me?" she said, nervously. "Um... sure." Why was he still with her? "Ok. Well..." she took a heavy breath. "I'm an animus." Alpaca almost opened his eyes on the spot. He looked at her, shocked, suddenly more afraid then ever. "An animus?! You mean the same power that almost made my tribe go extinct?!" He backed away a little. "Are you going to kill my tribe?!" "WHAT? No! Why would I? There's no point!" she yelped. "Please, don't abandon me just yet. I'm probably more afraid of my power than you." He looked at her. Her eyes had a fear in them; an old, staind fear that he had never seen before. He caught a glimpse of something in her head; a fear of what she might become. She was afraid she was going to go insane, like one of her past ancestors did. He paused. "Alpaca." Her head shot up, confused and a little scared. "My names Alpaca." Woap, that was fun. finished ina day. WOAP! WOAP! (also animus magic is win, if u say "i enchant blah blah blah," that will happen unless its bringing someone back from the dead. exsample- "i enchant this flower to become a snE K-" flower becomes a snek.)
