He has the ability to not hypnotize you, but to change the way your brain perceives things, colors, perspectives and can make you see double. (Hence the color change and eyes.) But he isn't strong enough for full-on mind control. He considers himself the protector of his forest and will use his tricks to keep people out. OTA stands for Offer to adopt!
