"You think he's OK?" Ocelot asked, his tail flicking nervously as he looked towards to door that Shard had shoved open after rushing into the cabin the group had found, and slamming it behind him. "I'm sure he's fine." Desertrose replied nonchalantly, "He's just being a drama queen like usual." This didn't seem to help clam Ocelot down though. "I'll check on him." Nova declared, getting up from the soft couch she had sat down on with Desertrose, heading towards to door in the far corner of the room. "You don't have to do that!" Desertrose said, but Nova ignored her. She turned the handle and opened up the door slowly. The room was windowless and the walls were covered in ivy, which did not match the rest of the cozy cabin. Int he middle of the cramped room sat Shard, his back facing towards Nova as his chest heaved up and down in ragged breaths. The floor under his feet was already covered in frost, which grew thicker and larger once he noticed Nova's presence. His wings were pressed against his sides as he sharply turned his head towards her, his necklace loosely hanging around his neck. "GET OUT!" he screamed, his voice a mix of his own, and something elses. Nova immediately pulled the door closed again, shocked and confused but what she had seen. Shard's eyes...The whites... It had looked like some sort of...Darkness was trying to consume them. But that couldn't be. She must've just have been imagining it. It was probably a trick of the eyes, since he had been in the darkness. It couldn't have been real. It was impossible for something like that to happen. I had a lot of fun doing this CC! It was nice to get out some of one of the many stories I'm writing, even if it was only a little bit. And just for clarification, the character in the CC (Shard) is supposed to a dragon, along with everyone else, but I didn't trust myself to edit the lineart in a way that wouldn't completely destroy it
