I wanted to move sprites around a background based on the use of lists. I thought moving around a geometric shape would be easy to code. I thought of a square and that lead me to the idea of idea of Abbott and Costello's Who's on First? routine and running around the bases - but really don't know how or what made me think of the routine. The next step would be to make Abbott and Costello into sprites ... and code the complete routine! I am not sure if all of the Unstuck 2020 coders know the routine and whether or not it translates to other languages with the same humourous frustration it does in English.
